Aarti, a 10-year-old from a remote kanpur village, used to draw letters on the mud floor with a stick. Her parents couldn’t afford to send her to school. When volunteers from TheVoiceOfPlanet arrived in her village, her eyes lit up at the sight of books and crayons. Today, Aarti not only attends regular classes but has also won a district-level essay competition. Her dream? To become a teacher and bring education to every child in her village.

Rahul had a speech disability and was often left out in classrooms and he is from badohi. His self-confidence had almost vanished — until he found The Voice Of Planet. Our team worked with him patiently through sign language and visual learning tools. Today, Rahul is a confident learner who teaches others how to express themselves without words. He’s now the head of his class’s art and craft club.

Iqbal loved computers and he is from barabanki,and he never had touched one. Through TheVoiceOfPlanet’s mobile learning van, he got his first computer class under the shade of a banyan tree. He quickly became a star learner, creating simple apps and teaching younger kids the basics of coding. With our support, he’s now pursuing a diploma in Information Technology. His dream is to open the first digital library in his village.
